Report urges training course providers to get digital

26th Sep - Course providers with digital strategies that target the student population will welcome news that over 90% of British students are distracted at least once an hour by social networking sites such as Twitter and Facebook.

The research by Cisco reported that British students are currently the second most internet-connected group in world via their mobile phones.

Schools, colleges and universities targeting British students should ensure that their marketing strategies involve digital channels, and this research reinforced this issue, said Dave Evans, commercial director at accessplanit. He said: “When it comes to course marketing, providers need to go where their audience is, and clearly the British student population is online.”
