Maersk Training has utilised the accessplanit Course Manager software to cope with three key business challenges: reduce day-to-day administration and course scheduling, manage the booking system from offline to online, and to ensure that all members of staff are up to date with their mandatory training.
For ease, accessplanit has integrated the Course Manager system into the Maersk Training website so that online booking could take place immediately, with minimal disruption.
The survival, security, safety, oil and gas, maritime and people skills training specialists plan to make effective use of the software’s management module to ensure that they do not double book rooms or trainers, and that they only assign trainers to the courses they are qualified to teach.
“Reducing admin cost as well as being 100% sure that all their staff were appropriately trained in line with statutory regulations, was essential to the training company – so Course Manager was the natural selection. We integrated the system into the company website, so the transition for features like online booking, was seamless,” commercial director at accessplanit, Dave Evans explained.
